These terms govern your use of blacknear.com and related BlackNear services. By using BlackNear, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Business listings
Businesses may be listed by their owners, by community Scouts, or by BlackNear. BlackNear may review, edit for clarity, decline, or remove any listing.
Business responsibility and ownership attestations
If you submit or claim a business, you confirm you are authorized to represent it and that the information you provide is accurate. Ownership attestations must be truthful. Inaccurate or misleading attestations may result in removal of verification status, the listing, or your account.
Verification decisions
"Verified Black-Owned" status is assigned only by BlackNear after review. We may request additional information, decline, pause ("Under Review"), or remove verification at our discretion. Verification reflects our review at a point in time and is not a legal certification.
Community reports and Scout submissions
Reports and recommendations help us identify information that may need review. They do not by themselves change a listing's status. Submit them in good faith; false or abusive submissions are not allowed.
User-generated content
You keep ownership of content you submit (such as business stories). You grant BlackNear a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and adapt it to operate and promote BlackNear. Don't submit content you don't have rights to.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse BlackNear: no fraudulent or impersonating submissions, harassment, scraping, interfering with the service, or unlawful activity.
Suspension and removal
We may suspend or remove accounts, listings, or content that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent or harmful.
Offers and promotions
Promotions such as 30 days of BlackNear Premium or BlackNear Business Premium free, and Founding Business benefits, are subject to availability and may change before launch. No payment is collected today.
No guarantee of accuracy
We work to keep listings accurate, but we can't guarantee every listing, hour, address, or status is error-free. Please confirm details directly with businesses.
Intellectual property
The BlackNear name, logo, and site design belong to BlackNear and may not be used without permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
BlackNear is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlackNear is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for interactions between customers and businesses.
